Allianz Leagues
Hurling: Limerick travelled to Walsh Park in Waterford on Sunday afternoon to play Waterford in their third game of the their Allianz League Campaign. Unfortunately Waterford ended the game the stronger and came away with the win. Full time score Waterford 1-22 Limerick 0-21. This loss means Limerick are still looking for their first win of this years league. They will be hoping to get that win when they welcome Cork to the LIT Gaelic Grounds on Saturday June 5th.
Football: Limerick travelled to play Offaly in the Division 3 South Allianz National League. Unfortunately it wasn’t Limerick’s day as Offaly beat them on a score line of Offaly 0-16 Limerick 1-11. Limerick now travel to Wicklow to play Wicklow next weekend. We wish them all the very best of luck!
Littlewoods National Camogie Leagues
Congratulations to both the Limerick Senior and Junior teams who both played on Saturday. The Limerick Juniors travelled to Carlow with the game finishing a draw after a very good game of camogie. The Seniors had the shorter trip of the two teams as they travelled to Clare to start their League Campaign. After an impressive 60 minutes of camogie Limerick came out on top with the final score Limerick 2-14 Clare 1-11.
