ADARE GAA CLUB NOTES
Virtual Hurling Camp
It was an excellent finale to our Bord na nÓg Virtual Hurling Camp. Thanks to Senior Hurlers, Willie Griffin and Brendan O’Connor who drove an intense workout and skills session. A huge thanks to our very own Grace McNamara and Hurler of the Year Gearoid Hegarty who were very open and gave very relatable insights into their sporting experience. A special thanks on our last camp to the boys and girls who put their heart and souls into the sessions and asked some super questions of our stars. Thanks to John Fitzgibbon who put trojan effort into organising and hosting all the sessions. Thanks to all our Senior Hurlers who supported and to all our special guests, it was a wonderful experience for the boys and girls.
Registration.
Hopefully we will all be able to return to the training pitch soon. With this in mind, the GAA requests that all members are registered for the season ahead. The registration process will be completed online this year. The Return to Play on our phones that we all became so familiar with last year is now known as Foireann. Foireann has many features, one of which includes registration of members. Please follow the instructions as shared with all the parents through the various forums.
Cheltenham Champion & Lotto
Thank you to everyone who supported our Bord na nÓg fundraiser, The Cheltenham Champion. There was a great competitive spirit throughout the week and congratulations to Jim O’ Donoughue who won the coveted prize. The money raised will go a long way towards supporting our great plans for the rest of the year.
The Friday 19th March Lotto draw numbers were: 13, 22, 25, 30. There was no winner which raises the Jackpot to €6,500. Remember you can now complete our weekly lotto online, google ’Adare GAA Smart lotto’. The next draw takes place Friday 26th March at 9:30pm.
