Limerick had many fantastic displays against Limerick, but Aaron Gillane continues to shine.

Following his exploits with Mary I in the Electric Ireland Fitzgibbon Cup during the week Gillane was inspirational once again for Limerick.

Patrick Horgan’s expert free-taking ensured Cork claimed the Allianz Hurling League Division 1A spoils against Clare at Pairc Ui Rinn.

The prolific Cork attacker finished the match with a staggering total of 0-16.

Diarmuid O’Keeffe’s energy was one of the chief reasons Wexford defeated Tipperary on Sunday.

O’Keeffe also drilled three points for Davy Fitzgerald’s charges.
