Today 2018 (Part 4) Another All Ireland Title won in Croke Park

A look back at the TG 4 All Ireland Ladies Football Final which was another memorable day in Croke Park when Limerick were impressive winners of the TG4 All Ireland Junior Ladies Football Championship.

A range of impressive goals in either way powered the John Ryan managed Limerick to a first title since the 2010 victory, which was also over Louth.
The final score in this superb display was Limerick 5-6, Louth 0-8.

Following on the All Ireland Senior Hurling Final, Kyle Hayes was chosen the RTE Man of The Match, while Aaron Gillane was chosen Hurler of the Month for August.

In November, Limerick Senior Hurlers travel to Boston to play in the Fenway Hurling Classic where they played Wexford on Sunday 18th. in Fenway Park, a win was recorded and a place in the final which followed with Cork, also saw victory going to Limerick.

Back home, next was the All Star Awards where Limerick collected Awards, Sean Finn, Richie English, Declan Hannon, Dan Morrissey, Cian Lynch and Greame Mulcahy, while Cian Lynch was also chosen, Hurler of the Year, while Kyle Hayes was chosen Young Hurler of the Year.

At the Munster GAA Awards held at Fota Resort, Limerick Senior Hurling team Manager, John Kiely was chosen, Manager of the Year, while former player Joe McKenna was inducted into the Hall of Fame,

Limerick Senior Hurlers were presented with their All Ireland Medals on Sunday 16th. December at the All Ireland Senior Hurling Winners Presentation at Adare Manor . This event brought down the curtain down on what was a Year to Remember for Limerick.
