Club Limerick Draw 2024:
The Club Limerick Draw for 2024 will be starting up in March. You can join at any time. When you support the #CLUBLkDraw ,you are supporting your local GAA club as half of your money goes to your nominated club. The purpose of the Club Limerick draw is to provide funding for our footballers and hurlers training fund from Minor to Senior grades. Please contact club officials for details. It can also be done online. Thanks to everyone who supported the club in 2023 & congratulations to all our winners.
Condolence:
The club wishes to extend its sympathy to the Costello family, Coolalough on the sad passing of Seamus on St Stephen’s Day. Seamus was a retired member of An Garda Síochána and a native of Asdee, Co Kerry. He was involved with the club for many a year & was famously involved with the great Junior double winning team of 1983. A huge supporter of the club for many years & also of Kerry football and Limerick hurling. May he rest in peace.
Road Hurling:
Thanks so much to everyone who participated in our Road Hurling event in Herbertstown on new years eve morning. In spite of the dreadful weather it was a fantastic day and with 31 teams involved it turned out to be a tremendous success with people of all ages having great fun. Congratulations to the winners who put up a fantastic score, Lucy Higgins, Molly Gleeson & Katie Dooley. Well done girls. Thanks to everyone who supported us by participating, the people who organised it, did up signs, food, Herbertstown HDA for the use of their facilities for the registration & Wrights Bar for refreshments after. Hopefully this can now be an annual event in the parish. Happy New Year to everyone & roll on 2024.
