Na Piarsaigh GAA Club Notes:
Street League 2023:
The curtain came down on yet another brilliant year for Na Piarsaigh Club na nOg.
Our annual street league finals rounded off a truly brilliant and exciting year for the kids and adults alike.
Our friends in the CBS Pipe Band led us around Caherdavin Lawn to begin the activities and then it was time for the hurling to commence.
Some great skills and no little effort on show as all teams gave their all for the last of the action for 2023.
Following the games it was back to the clubhouse for much-deserved refreshments and the medals.
We had a surprise visitor from the North Pole who gladly handed out the medals with the help of our senior hurlers who once again were on hand with their support for the next generation of super blues.
Million thanks to all the wonderful coaches who give up huge amounts of their time for the kids.
Big thank you also to the shop manager Grainne for her presence there every Saturday morning catering for all needs.
We must also pay particular homage to our sponsor of 41 years Peter Boylan who has been hugely generous to us since our inception in 82.
We thank you Peter and look forward to a continued partnership.
U21 Hurlers:
Our under-21 hurlers are still in action and this Tuesday sees them take on Mungret St Pauls in Doon at 8pm.
This is a county semi final so we ask all our supporters to make the special effort to get out tom Doon to lend your support.
We wish the team and management the very best wishes.
News:
We would like to congratulate Will O Donoghue, Peter and Mike Casey and Conor Boylan who received their All Ireland medals at a ceremony held in Adare Manor over the weekend. We are all immensely proud of your contribution to both Limerick and Na Piarsaigh.
