Mungret/ St. Paul’s scored the first two points both coming from John Hutton and Brendan Giltenane and then Derry McCarthy replied with a point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave a point between the sides. Mungret/ St. Paul’s scored the first and only goal of the game coming from Jack McCarthy with 12 minutes gone in the game and then John Hutton of Mungret/ St. Paul’s and Brian Ahern of Dromcollogher/ Broadford exchanged points to leave four point between the sides. James Killian of Mungret/ St. Paul’s and Garrett Noonan of Dromcollogher/ Broadford exchanged points to leave four points between the sides at the break. U13 All County Football Championship Division 1A Round 5:
On Thursday night last our footballers travelled to Adare to take on the home side. With a number of players missing due to holidays, this gave the rest of the panel to impress. It was Adare that started the brighter they moved the ball much quicker than us. Our boys tried hard to get a few scores on the board. With Adare getting a few goals in the second half made it very difficult for our boys. Credit to our boys never gave up the chase but were beating by a better team on the night. The final score on the night was Adare 5-9 to Dromcollogher/Broadford 1-6.
