Limerick:
Congratulations to the Limerick Senior hurlers who were victorious on Sunday when they defeated Waterford 1-18 to 0-19.
A tough game with no quarter asked or given. No doubt one that will stand to them going forward. Peter Casey with a man of the match performance working his socks off. He along with Will at midfield and both Mike Casey and Conor Boylan coming off the bench at different stages.
We now look forward to the visit from our neighbours Clare on Saturday night at 7pm.
No joy for the footballers who fell short in their Munster semi final against Clare under lights in the Gaelic Grounds. A game that could have gone either way in the closing stages but unfortunately it wasn’t to be. Gordon Brown seeing action in the last quarter.
They now enter the Tailteann Cup along with other provincial losers.
Lotto:
