This was a very tight game with very high scoring especially in the second half we Tournafulla scoring 2-6 to 0-13 from Dromcollogher/ Broadford and at half-time it was Tournafulla leading by 1-13 to 0-11.
Anthony Hartnett of Tournafulla and Damien Burke exchanged points early in the game to bring sides back on level terms for first and only time during the game. Jamie Doore scored the first goal of the game for Tournaulla to leave a goal between the sides and then Keith Lacey of Dromcollogher/ Broadford and Cian O’Sullivan of Tournafulla exchanged points. Dromcollgher/ Broadford scored the next two points to leave a point between the sides to leave and these points came from Damien Burke and Keith Lacey and then Tournafulla scored the next two points coming from Jamie Doore and Anthony Hartnett to leave a goal between the sides once again. Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored two points and these points came from Damien Burke his third of the game and the other coming from Derry McCarthy from a free to leave point between the sides and then Anthony Hartnett of Tournafulla and Keith Lacey of Dromcollogher/ Broadford exchanged points. Tournafulla scored the next two points coming from Tom McCarthy and Anthony Hartnett to leave three points between the sides and then Keith Lacey of Dromcollogher/ Broadford and Cian O’Sullivan of Tournafulla exchanged points. Keith Lacey of Dromcollogher/ Broadford and Anthony Hartnett of Tournafulla exchanged points and then Tournafulla scored the next three points with two of these points coming from Anthony Hartnett and the other point came from Gavin O’Reilly. Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next two points both coming from Derry McCarthy to leave four points between the sides and then Anthony Hartnett of Tournafulla scored the last point of the half to leave five points between the sides at the break. To leave the score at half-time Tournafulla 1-13 to Dromcollogher/ Broadford 0-11.
Tournafulla scored next 2-1 of the with goals coming from John Curtin and Anthony Harnett and the point came from Gavin O’Reilly to leave 12 points between the sides and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next six points to leave six points between the sides to leave with four of these points came from Keith Lacey and the other points came from Damien Burke and Kevin Noonan and then Michéal Collins of Tournafulla and Damien Burke of Dromcollogher exchanged points to leave six points between the sides once again. Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next five points to leave a point between the sides with three of these coming from Keith Lacey and the other points came from James Molyneaux and Damien Burke his sixth of the game and then Tournafulla scored the next two points both coming from Anthony Hartnett to leave three points between the sides. Keith Lacey scored his 13th all from pointed frees and then Jamie Doore scored another point for Tournafulla to leave three points between the sides at end of the game. To leave the score at full-time Tournafulla 3-18 to Dromcollogher/ Broadford 0-24.

U13 Football notes
On Tuesday night Dromcollogher/ Broadford travelled to Dooley Park to take on South Liberties in a rearranged match. This was a very close affair in the first half with both sides evenly matched scores were hard fought for. At the half time whistle the travelling team were up by a point. After the break in the second half South liberties started the better of the two sides going ahead by a point. The Dromcollogher/ Broadford boys chased and fought to get themselves back on top after all their hard work they got in for a goal with about 5 minutes left went up by 2. The last few minutes was a battle for survival with the away team tapping over two more points to insure victory. The final score on the night was Dromcollogher/ Broadford 3-5 to South Liberties 1-7.
