LIMERICK
Congratulations to the Limerick Senior Hurlers on reaching another Munster Hurling final after an epic battle with Clare yesterday in Ennis.
A ding dong battle with no little controversy and plenty of talking points on the day.
Well done to Mike Casey who was excellent at full-back and did a great job at the edge of the square.
Will O Donoghue at midfield was a workhorse and put in another massive effort while Conor Boylan upfront worked tirelessly for the cause and put in another big shift.
We now look forward to a Munster final on the Wit weekend against Clare.
Get your ticket requests in early to avoid disappointment.
Meanwhile, on the football front, it was another momentous day for Limerick who saw off the challenge of Tipperary to book a place in the Munster Senior Football final against Kerry.
This was another huge step for this squad which included our own Gordon Brown and we wish him well in the decider.
A big shout out also to clubman Alex Galligan who took part in the Primary game at halftime. This is a special day for these players and one they will remember for years to come. Well done Alex
