GALBALLY GAA CLUB NOTES

Galbally GAA AGM was held on Friday night. The club would like to thank all who attended the meeting.
Club secretary Karen Henebry gave a comprehensive account of the successes of our club at all age levels throughout 2021.
The club would like to say a huge “Thank you” to outgoing club officers Declan Hickey and Henry Martin. Both men have been pillars of our club and they have given everything to Galbally GAA over the years. Thank you most sincerely Declan and Henry.
The club would also like to say a massive “Thank You” to Tom Quinlan who has been the backbone of our club as our chairman for the last 4 years. Tom is stepping down as Chairman. Fortunately, Tom will continue as Vice Chairman for the coming year.
The club would like to wish all elected club officers the best of luck in their roles for the year ahead. A particular mention to Tom Davern who is stepping in to the role as Chairman of Galbally GAA club. The club are delighted to have you on board Tom.

Club Membership: Membership 2022 is now due. The deadline for payment is March 31st 2022. Membership rates are as follows:

Please note: In the event of a draw for match tickets for Munster or All-Ireland championship matches, priority will be given to those who paid by March 31st.
Congratulations to Marguerite O’Mahony, winner of this weeks ‘Split the Pot’ draw, with a winning pot of €174.
Well done to Gary McCarthy and all those in the club who gave a helping hand in the organisation of the Youth Parish League on Saturday evening in Galbally GAA grounds. An evening filled with fun, sunshine and enjoyed by all.
