Coach Education Evening:
We were delighted to welcome Stephen and Peter Lavin of https://gamesensecoaching.com/ to Croom last Friday for a coach education evening on a games based approach to coaching. We had a wonderful turn out with over 25 coaches including some coaches from Croom LGFC. The evening was divided into 2 parts, starting with coaches of age U7-11s followed by the U13-17 age groups. There was tea and biscuits to keep us warm on a cold night. The evening went very well and the lads were happy to answer questions as well as doing a practical demonstration on some of the games for the U7-11 age groups. Thank you to everyone who attended and we hope the coaches can use a lot of the learnings provided by the lads. If you missed it, Stephen Lucey has a lot of the information and is happy to sit down and go through it with any interested coach.
