West Junior B Football Championship
Group 2 Round 3
Granagh/Ballingarry and Glin meet in the final of Group 2 in the West Junior B Football Championship this Saturday 4th September in Newcastlewest at 2.45pm.
In the opening series of games Granagh/Ballingarry defeated neighbours Knockaderry by a point, 1-12 to 1-11 at Newcastlewest on Wednesday 18th August while the Glin boys suffered a heavy 16 point, 6-10 to 1-9, defeat at the hands of Knockaderry in Knockaderry on Monday evening. A win or a draw will see the Granagh/Ballingarry finish top of the Group to qualify for the semi final, but a win by the Glin boys by 18 points would see Glin and Knockaderry through to the semi final. Team manager Shane O’Grady requests a full turnout of players for this important final group stage game and your support would be welcome to cheer on the boys in black and green in their bid to qualify for the West Limerick Junior B Football Championship Semi Final.
