KILLEEDY GAA CLUB NOTES
Saturday morning youth club:
We returned Saturday morning last at 9.30. Children from the age of 3 up to 7yrs enjoyed the morning and lots of fun was had.
UNDERAGE TRAINING:
We are delighted to announce that our underage players are back to training this week. Training is non-contact only and all players, coaches and parents are asked to stick to all the Covid protocols specified by the GAA. All parents are asked to complete the online Covid Health Questionnaire Declaration form on Foireann https://returntoplay.gaa.ie/ during the day before each session. On arrival at training, please follow all instructions given by the Covid compliance officer and Coaches. All players to bring their own easily identifiable water bottle, parents do not gather in groups, any paid up club members who wish to use the Walkway please do so, no one is to hang around in the car park after training, as other groups may be arriving to use the facilities, use hand sanitiser. Above all else, do not allow Juveniles to attend training if they are feeling unwell.
Return to Play /Foireann:
As per health & safety Guidelines all parents of Underage children will have to complete a Health Questionnaire/Declaration online before each training session

Girls wishing to train & play with Bord na nÓg:
Killeedy GAA would like to welcome girls up to the age of 12 to train and play with Bord na nÓg teams. We would also strongly encourage girls to train and play with Killeedy camogie teams. Any girl interested in training with the Bord na nÓg teams should contact the appropriate team co – ordinator below :

Club Limerick Draw 2021:
1st prize of €10,000 for April went to Killeedy – Declan & Kathy O’Connor, congratulations to you both on a fantastic win, enjoy spending.
The next Club Limerick Draw takes place this Saturday 29th May with another jackpot prize of €10,000 & a host of cash prizes up for grabs. This will be the third of ten monthly draws which will run until December.
The Club Limerick Draw is one of our main fundraisers with 50% of the entrant fee returned to our own club. We strongly urge all club members to support this vital fundraiser & with such a wonderful selection of Exclusive Prizes on offer hopefully your luck is in for 2021.

Recipes for Success:
We are on week four of our online Recipes for Success Campaign. This we are focusing on smart snacking with videos, recipe inspiration and healthy eating posters. Please keep an eye out for these on our Twitter, Instagram and our Healthy Clubs Facebook group and share them online with your members using the #gaahealth and tag St. Angela’s College Sligo. Please see attached this week’s resource which can be shared with your members.
Get Active for Your Wellbeing’ Webinar with HSE and Derval O’Rourke:
HSE Health and Wellbeing are hosting ‘Get Active for Your Wellbeing’ Webinar on Wednesday May 5th at 2pm-3pm. Register Here. This upcoming webinar will focus on supporting people on how to build physical activity into daily life. Join us and hear from our special guest 3 time Olympian Derval O’Rourke. Derval will talk about what she has learned and ways to improve your health and wellbeing through exercise. We will also have input from HSE colleagues highlighting ways and opportunities to get active for your wellbeing. The webinar will also showcase the new FREE HSE Health and Wellbeing online exercise programmes. We are launching the first 8 ‘Pilates for beginners’ videos on the 5th May, which will be followed by Yoga, Strength and Conditioning and Chair Based Exercise videos.
