ALL STAR NOMINATIONS 2020 : Congratulations and Best Wishes are extended to the14 Limerick Senior Hurlers who are shortlisted for Hurling All Stars for 2020. Goalkeeper :Nicky Quaid, Defenders : Sean Finn, Dan Morrissey, Barry Nash, Diarmaid Byrnes, Declan Hannon and Kyle Hayes, Midfield Cian Lynch and William O Donoghue, Forwards : Gearoid Hegarty, Tom Morrissey, Aaron Gillane, Seamus Flanagan and Graeme Mulcahy have all been nominated while Gearoid Hegarty is also shortlisted for Hurler of the Year along with Tony Kelly and Stephen Bennett. Congratulations and Best Wishes also to Iain Corbett who has also been nominated for an All Star Football Award, this is a fantastic achievement and sees the first nomination for Limerick Footballers since 2010. It is hoped that the presentation of the PwC All Star awards will take place in a TV show in late February in line with Covid -19 restrictions.

NEW AGE FORMATS : Limerick GAA have confirmed that they will be play underage hurling and football competitions at uneven ages in 2021 in line with national policy.
GAA policy now stipulates that counties operate competitions at the Under -13, Under -15, Under-17 age grades as ‘a minimum requirement’.
The new policy came into effect from January 2021.
So all teams move to the uneven numbers (U-7, U-9, U-11, U-13, U-15 & U-17 U-19).
In Limerick the U-7, U-9 and U-11 age grades will come under the remit of Coaching & Games.
The U-13, U-15, U-17 and U-19 age grades will be planned by Feile na nGael will now be Under -15 grade
LEVEL 5 RESTRICTIONS : We are still in Level 5 restrictions , this is the situation we find ourselves in the GAA Community , we must all ensure to comply wholeheartedly in spirit and in practice. We thank everyone for their compliance in this regard during the on-going Covid-19 pandemic and we all look forward to see all our Club players back on the playing fields in the not too distant future.
