
Camogie:
Patrickswell won the Munster Junior Championship after a dominant performance against Clooney-Quin of Clare. Patrickswell raced into a 0-6 to 0-2 lead after twenty minutes, thanks to Roisin O’Brien 0-2, Leah O’Carroll, Ciara Barry and Rachel O’Grady 0-2. Our opponents struck a goal completely against the run of play, but Ciara Barry hit the net within a minute to restore a four-point lead. The Clare team notched to final point of the first half to leave Patrickswell 1-6 to 1-3 ahead.
The second half began favourably with Sophie Carey’s goal. Clooney-Quin were then stunned by six unanswered points from Roisin O’Brien 0-2, Rachel O’Grady 0-3 and Sarah Fitzgerald. Patrickswell were now twelve points ahead, 2-12 to 1-3, with ten minutes left. The closing stages were equal as Clooney-Quin had two points cancelled out by Leah O’Carroll and and Roisin O’Brien. At the full-time whistle, Patrickswell were thrilled with a 2-14 to 1-5 win.
Club Annual General Meeting:
The Club AGM will take place on Thursday December 4 at 8.30pm in the Clubhouse. Nomination and Motion Forms have been issued and must be returned to the Secretary on or before Thursday November 27.

Club Lotto:
The club lotto draw on Monday November 17 was not won. The numbers drawn were 2, 7, 13 and 16. The bonus number was 6. The €50 lucky dips were won by Margo King and Chris Canty, while the €20 prizes were claimed by Julie Shanahan, Arthur Lynch, Fergus Curran, Mary Gillane, The Boys and Marie Franey. This week’s jackpot is €5,400.
