Munster Semi Final:
On Field Competitive Action Comes to an End for 2025, As we reflect on saturdays game and the year that has been with our Premier Junior Hurling team we can only be filled with great joy and pride in what our boys have achieved in 2025.
The journey in Munster this November is a reward for completing the real goal of the year, winning a county championship. We once again salute the entire panel, management and backroom team for your efforts in 2025, you have brought so much joy, happiness and have made memories that will last us all a lifetime.
Being able to have a home Munster semi final was extra special. It was the largest crowd that was ever in Knockaderry, whether it be at a game or any other event. We had huge support as had our Cork rivals and thanks to all who came.
Our own team of club volunteers deserve huge credit for the planning, preparation, organisation and community spirit that was shown yesterday. It is hard to quantify or indeed convey the level of professionalism and dedication of so many in our club to ensure that everything ran as smoothly as it did. To all who contributed and helped in anyway, from getting the pitch and grounds ready over the past two weeks, to parking, to catering and all the other vitally important tasks undertaken that made the occasion what it was for our club, we express our deepest appreciation. Many compliments have been paid both in person and online on the hosting of the game.
2025 has been some rollercoaster on the pitch, like every game this year we battled proudly and bravely to the very last play and yesterday was no different except it was in the biggest game in our club’s history – thanks for getting us their boys, 2026 just around the corner and bigger days lay ahead again.
