County Premier Junior A Hurling Championship Regelation Final
Dromcollogher/Broadford 4-13 Monagea 3-14
This was a game of two halves with Dromcollogher/Broadford leading at the break by 2-8 to 2-5 with our goals both coming from James Molyneaux and Monagea’s goals came from Ciaran Brouder and Jason Brouder and then second half Monagea outscored us by 1-9 to 2-5 and the goal for Monagea from Ciaran Brouder and our goals came from James Molyneaux and Keith Lacey to seal victory for us and to keep us up in the County Junior A Premier Hurling Championship for next year. There was also three penalties blocked in the game with two coming from our goalkeeper Kevin Noonan and the Monagea keeper as well. The above club the management team of James Noonan, Michael O’Sullivan, William Buckley, Séamus Barry, Mike Boyce, Conor Brosnan, John O’Dell, Backroom Team: Jimmy Lacey and Patrick Noonan and the players led by Paul Madigan Captain for their efforts during the year gone by.
Damien Burke of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the first two points of the game to give us lead by two points and then Sean Herlihy of Monagea and Keith Lacey of Dromcollogher/ Broadford exchanged points.  Ciaran Brouder of Monagea scored the first goal of the game with seven minutes gone in the game to give them a lead of a point and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next 1-1 of the game with the goal coming from James Molyneaux with sixteen minutes gone in the game and the point came from Keith Lacey to give us a lead of three points. James Normyle of Monagea and Keith Lacey of Dromcollogher/ Broadford exchanged points to leave three points between sides once again.  James Molyneuax of Dromcollogher/ Broadford after a great ball in from Gerard O’Callaghan scored his second goal of the game for Dromcollogher/ Broadford with 23 minutes in the game to give us a lead of six points and then Monagea scored the next 1-1 of the game with the goal Jason Brouder with 24 minutes gone in the game and the point came from Sean Herlihy to leave two points between the sides.  Keith Lacey of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next three points to give us lead on five points and then Monagea scored the last two points of the half to leave five points between the sides at the break, and these points came from Jason Brouder and James Normyle to leave three points between the sides at end of the half. To leave the score at half-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 2-8 to Monagea 2-5.
James Molyneaux of Dromcollogher/ Broadford and Sean Herlihy of Monagea exchanged points and then Sean Herlihy of Monagea scored the next point of the game leave two points between the sides.  James Molyneaux of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored his third goal of the game with 38 minutes gone in the game to lead by five points and the Monagea scored the next 1-7 without reply from Dromcollogher/ Broadford and the goal came from Ciaran Brouder with 53 minutes gone in the game and with four of these points came from Sean Herlihy and the other points came from Ciaran Brouder, Eamonn Browne, James Normyle to leave five points between the sides.  Keith Lacey of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next goal of the game with 54 minutes gone in the game to leave two points between the sides and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next four points without reply from Monagea with two of these points coming from Keith Lacey and the other points came from Damien Burke and Brian Ahern to give us victory by two points and to secure our place in the County Premier Junior A Hurling Championship for next year again. U16 All County Football Championship Division 2 Round 7:
We received a walkover from Hospital/Herbertstown, on last Saturday, after seven rounds the table reads as follows: Dromcollogher/Broadford 14 points +83, Kildimo/ Pallaskenry 10 points +14, Ballybricken/Bohermore/Fedamore 8 points +7, Adare 7 points +3, Pallasgreen 6 points – 23, Bruff 3 points -34, Hospital/Herberstown 3 points -23 (withdrawn from competition), St. Patrick’s 3 points -27. The Semi-Finals pairings will be decided after the last remaining game between Pallasgreen and St. Patrick’s, on Thursday nightnext.
Dromcollogher/ Broadford GAA Club Lotto Draw:
The following are the results of the lotto draw that took place on the 22-09-25, and the numbers drawn were: 5, 6, 7, 14 There was no winner of the Jackpot at €6,200 and there was also no winner of match three at €100 and the two lucky dips of €50 each and they were: Leanne McCarthy and Gerard Greaney and the next draw will take place on this coming Monday September  29th, in the GAA Grounds, Dromcollogher, at 9.30pm Sharp and the Jackpot is going up €6,300 and match three is staying at €100.
