Knockaderry 3-25 Dromcollogher/Broadford 1-17
This was a game of two halves with Knockaderry leading at the break by 1-14 to 0-9 with Knockaderry’s goal coming from Enda Moran and then second half Knockaderry outscored us by 2-09 with goals for Knockaderry coming from Mark Danaher and Enda Moran and to 1-8 with our goal coming from Darragh Stack, our next game is against Kilteely/ Dromkeen, on week-ending September 14th, more details on this fixture later. Brian Ahern of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the first point of the game and then Knockaderry scored the next four points to take lead of three points with two of these coming from Mark Danaher and the other two points came from Kieran Stroin and Paudie Dore. Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next three points to lead by a point to bring sides back on level terms for the second time during the game and these points came from Damien Burke, Keith Lacey and Kevin Noonan and then Knockaderry scored the next 1-1 of the game with the goal coming from Enda Moran and the point coming from Jack Molloy to lead by four points. Keith Lacey of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored another pointed free to leave three points between the sides and then Kieran Storin of Knockaderry scored the next of two points to lead by five points. Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next two points coming from Kevin Noonan and Paul Madigan to leave three points between the sides and then Knockaderry scored the next two points, and these points came from Kieran Storin and Paudie Dore to leave five points between the sides. Mark Danaher of Knockaderry scored the next 1-1 of the game to lead by 13 points with 48 minutes gone in the game and Darragh Stack of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the next goal of the game to leave 10 points between the sides with 50 minutes gone in the game. This was a very high scoring game with Beville Gaels winning by 15 points on the night, this game was played on last Thursday night, in Quaid Park (Colyroe). Referee: Eamonn Phelan (St. Paricks).

This was game was played down in Dromcollogher with South Liberties winning by 10 points on last Sunday morning, after six rounds the table reads as follows: St. Kieran’s 8 points +63, Beville Gaels 6 points +27, South Liberties 6 points -13, Mungret/St. Paul’s 4 points 4 -6, Dromcollogher/ Broadford 2 points -35, Ballybricken/Boheramore/Fedamore, Shannon Gaels, Ahane have all withdrawn from the competition. The following are the results of the lotto draw that took place on the 27-08-25, and the numbers drawn were: 3, 7, 21, 25. There was no winner of the Jackpot at €5,800 and there was four winners of the match three at €100 and they each got €25 each and they were: Timmy O’Carroll, Durrus, J.J. Barry, Dromcollogher, Bridie Noonan St. Jospeh’s Park, John Leahy, Dromcollogher and the two lucky dips of €50 each and they were: Joan Pierce, Broadford and Bridget Harrold and the next draw took place on Monday last September 1st, in the GAA Grounds, Dromcollogher, at 9.30pm Sharp and the Jackpot went up €5,900 and match three is stayed at €100.
