Pallasgreen GAA Club Notes:

Co Intermediate Football Championship:
Pallasgreen opened their championship campaign with a spirited and determined performance, securing a deserved draw against St Senan’s in Rathbane last Friday evening. The game, played in ideal conditions, saw Pallas take on one of the competition’s favourites and emerge with a valuable point after a dramatic finish. Despite trailing by 2-8 to 0-6 at half time, the team showed remarkable resilience and character in the second half. A transformed Pallasgreen outfit emerged after the break, refusing to be overawed by the deficit. With renewed energy and belief, they chipped away at St Senan’s lead, growing in confidence as the game wore on. Their persistence paid off late in the contest as they edged ahead, having completely overturned the first-half scoreline. However, a last-minute free awarded to St Senan’s brought the sides level once again just before the final whistle. The final scoreline, Pallasgreen 0-17, St Senan’s 2-11 – was a fair reflection of a game full of grit and drama. It marks a positive start for Pallasgreen in the championship and a clear statement of their intent for the season ahead. Team: S. Pearce, D. O’Dea, D. Hayes, W. O’Dwyer, A. O’Sullivan, T.
