We’re incredibly proud to wish our U15 footballers the very best of luck as they embark on an exciting journey to The Loup GAA Club in Derry for the 2025 John West Féile Peile na nÓg!
Qualifying for the National Féile is a remarkable achievement and a testament to the hard work, dedication, and talent of everyone involved. We know they’ll represent Monaleen with pride and passion.

A Huge Congratulations to the Limerick Senior Footballers:
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Limerick senior football team and their management on a fantastic and well-earned victory over Wicklow in the Tailteann Cup Championship semi-final. It was a thrilling performance that truly reflected the team’s hard work and determination.
All eyes now turn to the final against Kildare on Saturday, July 12th, and we look forward to supporting the team as they continue their remarkable campaign.
A special mention to our brilliant Monaleen club players involved in this outstanding achievement—including Tadhg O’Siochrú, Darragh Murray, and Conall Ó Duinn—for their dedication and contribution to this success. Massive credit to all!
Limerick Senior Hurlers:
Hard luck to the Limerick senior hurlers following a valiant effort in their quarter-final match against Dublin. While the outcome wasn’t what we hoped for, the team showed great spirit and commitment throughout the campaign.
A sincere thank you and well done to Donnacha Ó’Dálaigh, Darragh Langan, Paul Kinnerk, and the entire panel and management team for their tireless efforts and the memorable moments they’ve given us this season.
We’re already looking ahead with excitement and belief for what’s to come next year.
Monaleen Division 4 Camogie League Champions 2025:
Huge congratulations to our Junior Camogie team and management on their fantastic victory this evening in the Division 4 League Final. After a determined and spirited performance, they secured a well-earned win over Newcastlewest on a final score of Monaleen 1-11 Newcastlewest 0-9
Well done to all the players and coaches for their dedication and teamwork throughout the season!
Monaleen GAA Golf Classic:
Announcing the details of our Monaleen GAA Golf Classic in Ballyneety on September 5th, very kindly sponsored by Hogan Dowling McNamara.
If you haven’t participated before, here’s an idea of what’s involved on the day:
* Complimentary Tea/coffee before your round of golf
* Collect your goody bags
* Burger on the 9th tee
* Meal included afterwards in Vines Restaurant Ballyneety
* Prizegiving ceremony from 9pm in Monaleen GAA Club with prizes galore!
This is a great social event and gets lots of support from local businesses in the community.

Get ready for an action-packed week of Gaelic games at our GAA Summer Camp! Whether you’re a budding hurler, camogie player, or footballer, this camp is the perfect way to sharpen your skills, make new friends, and have loads of fun.
