€10,600 Jackpot on Saturday:
There has been no winner of the jackpot in the Granagh Ballingarry GAA Club weekly lottery since Ross and James Tierney, Ahalin, Ballingarry, promoter O’Grady’s Spar Shop, Ballingarry, won €3,000 on Saturday 12th August 2023 in Buckley’s Bar, Ballingarry.
The numbers drawn on Saturday 14th June in the Rock Bar, Granagh were 6, 7, 24 and 26. The €10,500 jackpot was not won. Lucky dips of €20 each went to Tony Fitzgibbon, promoter online; Tricia and Sarah Hayes, promoter O’Grady’s Spar Shop, Ballingarry; Eoin Chawke, promoter John Carroll; Paul McDonagh, promoter Stephen Stapleton.
The next draw for a jackpot of €10,600 will be held on Saturday 21st June in Dinny A’s Bar, Ballingarry. Tickets are €2 each or three for €5 and are on sale in local shops, bars and from promoters. You can now also buy the weekly draw online and the link is available on the club’s Facebook or Twitter page which finishes at 6pm every Saturday. Thank you for your continued support.

Players Membership:
Granagh Ballingarry players membership can still be renewed online at www.foireann.ie Any player not currently registered who incurs an injury will not be covered by GAA insurance and will have to cover all costs, including medical and loss of earnings. So, we ask all players to register as soon as possible.

Granagh Ballingarry GAA Club players injury insurance invoice for 2025 – Total costs €4,600, discount €2,024, total paid through Foireann was €2,576.
Limerick GAA Season Tickets:
Limerick County GAA Board launched their 2025 season tickets recently. The tickets will entitle the bearer entry to all Limerick County Board Club games in 2025 for €150. It would make an ideal present for a family member or friend. Tickets can be purchased online at limerickgaa.ie Tel (061) 335576.

All Ireland Hurling Quarter Final Tickets:
Limerick play Dublin in the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship quarter final on this Saturday 21st June in Croke Park at 4pm. With a capacity of 81,000, tickets will be plentiful and anyone who wishes to attend the game will be able to do so as the game won’t be a sell-out. Tickets are still on sale via Ticketmaster and selected SuperValu and Centra outlets. Thank you for your understanding in this matter and hopefully there will be a big travelling support from Granagh Ballingarry on Saturday to support the boys in green and white.
June County Club Draw:
The next Limerick County GAA Club Draw will be held on Saturday 28th Junewith a top prize of €10,000. There are a host of other prizes to be won – 2nd €3,000, 3rd €2,000, 4th €1,000, 5th Executive Star Prize, 6th to 9th €500, 10th to 13th €300, 11th to 30th €200.
Granagh Ballingarry had 204 members in the third draw in May and two winners to date. Club Chairperson Andrew Holmes and Noreen Hennessy won €200 each in the first draw in March. Draw Promoters Hit the Streets:
Granagh Ballingarry GAA Club draw promoters are taking to the streets of the parish to canvass members to join the club draw, which will be held quarterly with €2,000 in prizes. 1st prize €1,000 and 10 prizes of €100 with the option to join the club’s weekly lottery/county club draw for €200. If you wish to renew your membership, please contact your promoter as soon as possible as the first draw is due to take place shortly.

Club Football Championship Games Postponed:
All games in the opening round of the Limerick County Senior, Intermediate and Junior Football Championship fixed for this weekend have been postponed to the following weekend, pending on the success of the Limerick senior footballers in the Tailteann Cup semi final against Wicklow on this Sunday 22nd June in Croke Park at 2pm.
Christ the Saviour National School Ballingarry Medal Presentation Today:
It was a very successful year on the playing field for Christ the Saviour National School, Ballingarry, winning both the West Division Mini 7s and Division 1 hurling titles for the very first time. The school are holding a medal presentation today Wednesday 18th June in Granagh Ballingarry GAA Club grounds in Ballingarry at 1.30pm. It would be great to have as many as possible in attendance for the medal presentation, which will be presented by Granagh Ballingarry Intermediate hurler, Jack Cagney.
