Camogue Rovers GAA Club Notes:

Both our Junior A, and Junior B teams have started their football league campaigns, we had a win against Banogue in the JA, and last Saturday a draw against Knockainey in the JB. Next league fixtures are weekend of 29 March, and Hurling league will commence in April

Saturday morning last, our first Club Spraoi was held in the hall and it was great to see the numbers of kids attending and to hear the cúpla focal. Those present, aged from 2-7, worked on their fundamental movement skills with interaction as Gaeilge.

Numbers are currently at capacity but check out the club Facebook page for details on joining the waiting list for upcoming weeks. Thanks to the organisers and to all volunteers for providing this opportunity to local children.

Membership deadline is 31 March, Adult – E40, OAP/Student – E20. Couple – E60.

There will be a members only WhatsApp group, in addition to the current news and match updates one, where ticket details for inter county matches will be shared. Membership can be paid on Foireann, or given to any committee member,

This year, Camogue Rovers are fielding U18 and U20 teams in Gaelic Football in the Parish. Anyone who is unsure if they are registered please get in touch with any club member. Any people who would like to support or get involved are very welcome.

There is now a Deposit Returns Bin inside the gate of the field for plastic bottles. The club will gather any bottles collected and use funds to help with upkeep of the walkway and playing fields.
