Former Limerick hurler targets All-Ireland senior hurling club championship medal:

LIMERICK natives Brian Ryan and Charlie McCarthy are on step away from All-Ireland senior hurling club success with their adopted club in Dublin.
Na Fianna take on Sarsfields this Sunday at 1:30pm in the All-Ireland senior hurling championship club final at Croke Park. The game is live on TG4.
Brian Ryan has impressed in midfield on Na Fianna’s run to the All-Ireland final. Ryan has chipped in with key scores for the north Dublin throughout the county, Leinster and All-Ireland championship.
Brian Ryan transfered from Limerick club South Liberties to Dublin club Na Fianna in 2023. The Na Fianna midfielder is set to play inter-county hurling for the first time in four years. Niall Ó Ceallacháin has called Ryan into the Dublin senior hurling panel.
The former Limerick hurler was previously part of the Limerick senior hurling panel where he received gametime during the National League campaigns in 2020 and 2021. In 2020, Brian Ryan was part of the extended Limerick senior hurling panel that went onto to win the All-Ireland title.
Former Adare clubman McCarthy is a member of the extended Na Fianna panel. A Harty Cup winner with Ardscoil Ris, McCarthy has enjoyed Limerick Senior Football Championship success with Adare in recent times before his move to Dublin.
Na Fianna narrowly defeated Galway champions Loughrea by the minimium in the All-Ireland semi-final, while Sarsfields just did enough against Slaughtneil in the other semi-final.
Brian’s father Brian is the manager of the Univeristy of Limerick Fitzgibbon Cup team.
