The Limerick GAA Health and Wellbeing Committee re-affirms the World Health Organisations view that “Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.” The Committee is dedicated to promoting health and wellbeing within our memberships, clubs, and our communities.
We are holding our Health & Wellbeing Seminar on Tuesday 22 October 2024 at the Fitzgerald’s Woodlands House Hotel, Adare, Co Limerick. The theme of the seminar is community and the guest speakers are as follows Brid O Dwyer (Croke Park), Sergeant Ber Leetch (Crime Prevention), Ciaran Carey (Substance Abuse & Mental Health), Doras Luimini (Toolkit to combat racism in sports), Phelim Macken (Limerick Sports Partnership), This seminar is free, however registration will be required. Full details of the seminar and registration has been circulated to all clubs also.
