Club Lotto Draw:
Our Club Lotto continues weekly every Monday night except on Bank Holidays. Our next draw will take place in Wrights on Mon Oct 21st. Last week’s numbers were 11, 14, 21, 28. Unfortunately, we had no jackpot winner however our lucky dip winners 5 x €20 were Bob Davern Hospital, Chris Foley Hospital, Jimmy Hickey Ballylanders, John Hickey Ballycahill, Niall O Sullivan Hospital. Sellers Prize Pat Whelan. Next jackpot is now €13,700. Reserve Jackpot is €10,000. Tickets can be purchased in local shops from any committee member or online link available on our Facebook page. Club Limerick Draw 2024:
The next Club Limerick Draw for 2024 will be at the end of October. You can join at any time. When you support the #CLUBLkDraw,you are supporting your local GAA club as half of your money goes to your nominated club. The purpose of the Club Limerick draw is to provide funding for our footballers and hurlers training fund from Minor to Senior grades. Please contact club officials for details. It can also be done online through the Limerick GAA website adding Hospital/Herbertstown as your club. Unfortunately, we had no winner in September draw.
Under 14s:
Hard luck to our Under 14 footballers who lost out to a fine Cappagh/ Rathkeale team under lights in Adare on Wednesday night.Despite conceding 3 quick fire goals in the first half, our boys bounced back in typical form to really take the game to the opposition in the second half. A goal midway through the second half put us in touching distance of Cappagh Rathkeale and we pushed them to the final whistle but Cappagh Rathkeale were worthy champions. In what was our final game of the year, it’s great to look back on the great entertainment this group of players have provided us with this year, they are a source of great pride for all. Thank you boys, coaches and parents. We are looking forward to next year already, HH Abu
Harty Cup:
Well done to John The Baptist who had a fantastic opening round Harty Cup win over Rice College, Ennis in Meelick on Wednesday last. A brilliant performance from start to finish and especially well done to the H/H lads who played a huge part in the win by 4.20 to 0.20. Our lads involved in panel were Griffin McCaffrey, Diarmuid Hurley, Adam Gleeson, Shane O Dea, Cian McNamara, Riain McNamara, Kevin Hennessy, Sean Hennessy, Christian Higgins & William Ryan.
Junior C Hurling:
On November 9th our County Champion Junior C hurlers will take on the Limerick Masters Hurling team in a charity game in aid of Milford Hospice at St Patrick’s GAA grounds with thrown in at 3pm. Please support this great cause. More details in the coming weeks.
