Saturday’s County Junior B Hurling Championship Quarter-final:
Fedamore is the venue at 2pm on this Saturday 19th October for the eagerly-awaited clash of back to back West Junior Hurling League and Championship winners Granagh-Ballingarry and East Junior and County Junior B Hurling League winners and defeated Championship finalists South Liberties in the County Junior B Hurling Championship quarter-final in a rematch of the County Junior B Hurling League final won by 2 points, 1-12 to 0-13 by South Liberties on Friday 19th July at Fitzgerald Park, Kilmallock.

Croom-Granagh-Ballingarry qualify for County U-20 B Hurling Championship Semi-final:
As a result of Croom-Granagh-Ballingarry receiving a walkover from Ballybricken-Bohermore-Fedamore in the final game of group 3 in the County U2- B Hurling Championship fixed for Fedamore on Sunday, they have now finished top of the group on 6 points, two ahead of Templegantine to qualify for the semi-final and Templeglantine play the winners of the Group 1 and Group 2 second place play-off for the fourth semi-final spot.
Granagh-Ballingarry crowned U-16 B Champions
Granagh-Ballingarry 4-3 Kildimo-Pallaskenry-Ballybrown 1-10
Hearty congratulations to the U-16 camogie players of Granagh-Ballingarry on their thrilling two point 4-3 to 1-10 victory over gallant Kildimo-Pallaskenry-Ballybrown to take the County U-16 Camogie Championship title in difficult wet and windy conditions at Croagh on Saturday morning.
Croagh-Kilfinny crowned champions with six point win:
County Intermediate Camogie Championship Final
Croagh-Kilfinny 1-9 Granagh-Ballingarry 0-6
Hard luck to the Granagh-Ballingarry intermediate camogie side who suffered a six point, 1-9 to 0-6 defeat to neighbours Croagh-Kilfinny in the County Intermediate Camogie Final played in difficult wet and windy conditions in Cappamore on Saturday afternoon.

Granagh Ballingarry players’ membership can still be renewed online at www.foireann.ie Any player not currently registered who incurs any injury will not be covered by GAA insurance and will have to cover all costs including medical and loss of earning, so we ask all players to register on foireann.ie as soon as possible.
Football Inter-Provincial Series
The GAA has confirmed arrangements for the Football Inter Provincial Series which will showcase the proposed new rule changes for Gaelic Football as devised by the football review committee, chaired by former Dublin senior football manager, Jim Gavin at Croke Park this weekend.
On Friday 18th October Leinster play Connacht in the first semi final at 6pm which is followed by the meeting of Munster and Ulster at 8pm, Saturday 19th October will see two more games take place as the two defeated provinces meet at 5.30pmand the teams compete against each other at 7.30pm. Tickets for the games are on sale from usual outlets priced at €15 for adults €5 for children and provide entry for all four games over the two days. All tickets must be purchased from gaa.ie or Centra and SuperValu outlets.
The managers for the teams have also been confirmed. Connacht will be coached by Padraic Joyce and Dessie Dolan will look after the Leinster team. John Cleary, manager, the Munster selection and Kieran Donnelly takes charge of the Ulster team. All four games will be televised live with the two games on Friday covered by TG4 and the two Saturday fixtures broadcast by RTE.
October Country Club Draw:
The next Limerick County GAA Clubs Draw is on Saturday 26th October with a top prize of €10,000. There are a host of other prizes to be won, 2nd €3,000, 3rd €2,000, 4th €1,000, 5th executive star prize, 6th to 9th 500. 10th to 13th €250. 14th to 30th €100. There will again be exclusive monthly prizes to be won. Granagh-Ballingarry had 165 members in the 7th draw in September and three winners to date Liam Carroll won €200 in April, Patsy Quinn won €300 in June and Elizabeth Cregan won €3,000 in July.
