Athea GAA Club Notes:
U10 Girls:
Well done to our U10 girls team who played a blitz in Ballyhahill last Wednesday night against Gerald Griffins and Tarbert. These girls play with such heart and determination and their skills are improving with each game.
U11 Football Go-Games:
Our U11 team made the journey to Foynes on Tuesday evening last to play St. Senan’s in the third round of the Go-Games. We had 16 players available and fielded two teams. All players played excellently against a very good and skilful St. Senan’s. Both our teams kicked some fantastic goals and points and defended excellently and worked really hard for each other for the full 50min of football. This is a great bunch and you can really see the improvements in their skills each week. The Panel for the match was; Tiarnan Fitzgerald, Anna Murphy, Edward Kelly, Conor Hayes, Ella Collins, Nancy Horgan, James Kelly, Niamh Hickey, Conchuir Brouder, Niall Kenndy, Kieran Sheehan, Kaleigh Finucane, Fionn Hunt, Colton Brouder, Josiha Wiedling and Oisin Kennedy
