🔷2020 WIN A MERCEDES CLA 180
OFFICIAL DRAW POSTPONED DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS
At a special meeting called recently by Limerick County Board Chairman John Cregan of the committee for the “Win A Mercedes CLA 180” it was agreed that due to the current level 5 restrictions we regretfully have to postpose the Official Draw to choose a winner of Mercedes CLA 180. At The meeting John advised the committee that “Over the last number of days we have endeavoured to host the draw online on 31st October as advertised, however, as restrictions do not allow gatherings for events, we have made a decision to postpone the draw until Saturday 5th December 2020 (Subject to Covid-19 Restrictions). At this time we hope to conduct the draw with our adjudicators Grant Thornton & live stream on our social media platforms.” Thank you to everyone who supported this very success fundraiser and we will be in contact with you early December with full details on the draw
🔷GAA CLUB GAMES SUSPENDED WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT
The GAA’s Management Committee has endorsed a decision to suspend all GAA Club games at all levels with immediate effect and until further notice. The decision has been taken in the interest of public safety following a number of incidents that have been brought to our attention in recent days. In particular, post-match celebrations and a lack of social distancing at certain events have proved disappointing and problematic. This directive applies to all ages and all grades across the island.Club Social Centres / bars are also to close.Training will continue to be permitted as per the guidelines outlined for the relevant levels in the Government’s National Framework for Living with Covid 19 and relevant guidelines in the Six Counties. The GAA will continue to monitor the situation in the coming days and weeks, regarding changes in government guidelines, before liaising with our units accordingly. The Association would also like to acknowledge all of those units who have worked diligently in complying with the public health advice around the staging of our games and training sessions since activity resumed.More than ever, we ask that you continue with this approach regarding training sessions.

🔷Rockhill AFC And Bruree GAA Lotto
Due to Irish Government and HSE recommendations to Level 5, in the interest of the safety of the lotto organisers, promotors and Lotto players, Rockhill AFC and Bruree GAA lotto committee have come to the decision to postpone this Monday nights lotto draw until further notice. The running of the Lotto creates unnecessary interaction so we hope this is to the understanding of all.During this difficult time we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our ticket sellers/buyers for your continued support. Anyone who has already purchased tickets for this Monday night’s draw can be assured that these tickets will be included once we commence our draws again. We will keep everyone updated over the coming weeks and hope everyone stays safe.

FOOTBALL RESULT
Munster Senior Football Championship Quarter Final 2020 RESULT AET
LIMERICK 2-11 (17)
TIPPERARY 1-15 (18)
A brilliant effort by Limerick team against a very tough Tipperary team. Its been a great yest for the Footballers. Billy Lee and management team along with the players win the Mcgrath Cup and also won the Division 4 football league. Well done on the wins. Limerick were very unlucky not to be in a Munster Final.
🔷November Challenge & Help Mark beat Lyme Disease.
For the month of November teammates of Mark, in Bruree GAA, along with family and friends are coming together to try and raise much needed funds for Mark.
While over 50 of us are doing a mix of Movember & No Shave November there are lot of COVID safe activities that people can take up during the coming month. Below are some ideas
– Virtual Walkathon or Run event (Ask people to donate in proportion to how many miles you will walk or run in the month of November)
– Movember
– No Shave November
– Virtual Online Charity Auction
– Virtual Quiz Night
– Birthday Fundraiser – Facebook (Instead of a present, donate)
– Coronavirus Jar (Family or workmates make a ‘coronavirus swear jar’, and give €1 every time the dreaded word is mentioned. Corona / Coronavirus / COVID etc – you decide on the rules)
