Limerick GAA

Commiserations to our Senior Footballers who bowed out of the Munster Championship when they were beaten by neighbours Tipperary by a solitary point. It was an exciting game that ebbed and flowed, as both sides exchanged the lead on many occasions. Tipperary forced the game to extra time with a wonderful sideline kick in the dying seconds. Limerick had a chance of their own to level in the dying seconds of extra time, to force penalties, but unfortunately it wasn’t to be. Overall a fantastic year for the footballers who gained promotion to Division 3, and also enjoyed a good Championship win over Waterford.

Switching codes to the small ball, best of luck to our Senior Hurlers who take on Waterford in the Munster Final on Sunday, hopefully they can continue their rich vein of form and bring home more silverware.

Paul Carey – RIP

Sympathies to all the Carey family, friends and the community of Patrickswell on the untimely passing of Paul Carey. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

Limerick GAA – MERCEDES CLA 180

With Level 5 restrictions in place, Limerick GAA agreed to postpone the eagerly anticipated draw until December 5th, subject to the restrictions being lifted. Entries to the draw are now closed however, the very best of luck to all our supporters who purchased a ticket, hopefully we will see you cruising around the parish in a new Mercedes prior to Christmas!
