2007, Sunday 12th. August, a Treble Header in front of 80,546 spectators, the All Ireland Football Championship & Hurling Championship Semi Finals were played in Croke Park, where Kerry played Monaghan in the Football decider Tipperary and Kilkenny played in the Minor Semi Final and Limerick played Waterford in the Hurling decider

Kerry won the Football and their was great excitement prior to the Hurling game, a repeat of the Munster Final where the Waterford side a 3.17 to 1.14 win to lift the Munster Title. This time the tables were turned when Limerick scored a 5.11 to 2.15 win and a place in the All Ireland Final.
