South Senior / Intermediate Hurling Championship Final 2018

Last Friday evening Garryspillane and Glenroe played the South Senior / Intermediate Hurling Championship Final 2018 in Kilbreedy. Congratulations to Garryspillane who were victorious on the night. It finished Garryspillane 2-13 Glenroe 2-11.

Bulgaden Castle U21 A South Hurling Championship Final

On Saturday last Bruff played Blackrock in the Bulgaden Castle U21 A South Hurling Championship Final in Kilbreedy. It finished Bruff 0-18 Blackrock 0-14. Congratulations to Bruff on completing 4 in a row in winning this competition. They now play the East Winners in the County U21 A Championship Semi Final. The other Semi Finalists are Ballybrown V West Winners.

Bulgaden Castle U21 B South Hurling Championship Final

On Saturday 16th March Kilacolla Gaels played Dromin Athlacca in the Bulgaden Castle U21 B South Hurling Championship Final in Kilbreedy. It finished Kilacolla Gaels 2-16 Dromin Athlacca 1-6. Congratulations to Kilacolla Gaels who now play the East Winners in the County U21 B Championship Semi Final. The other Semi Finalists are Southside Gaels V Templeglantine.

South Intermediate Hurling Championship Q/Final 2019

Croom played Dromin Athlacca on Saturday last in the Intermediate Hurling Championship Quarter Final in Ballyagran. Dromin Athlacca defeated Croom 1-23 to 3-13 and progress to the semi finals

Con & Annie Kirby Memorial Puppy Stakes

The Con & Annie Kirby Memorial Puppy Stakes commenced last Saturday evening at Limerick Greyhound Stadium and continues for the months of March and April.

This is sponsored by JP & Noreen McManus in honour of Noreen’s parents and the event is celebrating its 7th year.

All clubs including 24 ladies football, camogie and handball clubs were nominated a greyhound and the winning greyhound’s assigned club win a nominator prize of €10,000 and a free benefit night at Limerick Greyhound Stadium.

The Board would like to congratulate the Limerick Hurlers and Management Team on winning the League Semi Final on Sunday last in Nolan Park defeating Galway. We wish them the very best of luck in the Allianz Hurling League Final on Sunday next when they take on Waterford in Croke Park. This is Limericks first Allianz Hurling League Final since 2006.
