Well done to Eoin McGrath, Josh Dineen, Peter O’Dwyer and Shane Hanrahan who have been picked on Limerick Minor Football panel. James Ryan is a selector/coach. Another player Shane O Donoghue Ballylanders is a nephew of Willie Donoghue who gave great service to Galbally GAA, wearing the Galbally Jersey from the 1970s to the 2000s. Some of Jack Dillon’s players had All Ireland success with Scoil Pol Camogie recently. They were Denise Mullins, Eilis Lee, Rachel Walsh, Sinead Halpin, Rachel Condon, Sarah O Brien and Caoimhe Martin. Johnny Cummins led his Cahir Under 21 side to a South Tipperary Under 21 A Football title recently with Cahir against Clonmel Commercials. He led his side out against JK Brackens on St Patrick’s day in Dundrum where they lost the County Final narrowly by two points. He is also in charge of the Cahir Senior Footballers for 2019
The Con and Annie Kirby stake commences this Saturday at Limerick Greyhound Stadium. Please go along to support the Galbally nominated dog. This is a competition that has been kind to us in the past and we sincerely thank JP and Noreen McManus for their generosity in supporting the event. The latest Split the Pot winner was Geraldine Cronin who was the lucky winner of €401. Next Draw in O’Connell’s bar on Saturday night next 23rd March.
Finally, Galbally GAA would like to offer our condolences to County Chairman John Cregan and Family on the premature loss of his daughter Mary after an illness. May she RIP.
