2024 County Scór Sinsir Final

Pallasgreen provided an outstanding venue for the 2024 Scór Sinsir County Final on the 22nd of March.

Veronica Callinan, Irish Cultural Officer was an excellent Bean an Tí and kept the show moving with the minimum of fuss. Great to see audiences increasing with a full house on Friday the 22nd. Lovely to get all the positive feedback that it was a most enjoyable night. Thanks to Michael Ryan Name for his constant support in all things Scór.

Crecora/ Manister will once again represent Limerick in the Figure Dancing competition. They are no strangers to the stage and will represent Limerick very well in the Munster Final.

Bruff’s Helena Twomey was crowned County Winner in the Solo Singing competition. In what was a very enjoyable competition Banogue, Crecora/Manister, Patrickswell, Cappamore and Granagh/Ballingarry gave excellent performances but Helena got the nod to proceed to the Munster semi final.

Banogue also took the honours in the hotly contested Recitation/Story telling competitions. Ahane, Monagea and Cappamorewere in the mix but Liz Griffin came out on top and will fly the Limerick flag in the provincial semi final decider. This will be Limericks drive for 5 in this competition.

Banogue had the audience rolling in laughter with their Novelty Act especially with their famous cow. Cappamore had a topical act with Michael Healy – Rae and Eamon Ryan having a lot to say about Irish life these days. Banogue were crowned winners and we can’t wait to see them again in the Munster semi Final.

Cappamore took the honours with their polished set dancing. With 2 Senior All Ireland titles and numerous Munster titles Cappamore will once again carry Limerick’s hopes in Newport for the Munster final.
