Ballyagran Tidytown
Another busy week for Ballyagran tidytowns. Members from the group travelled to Griffin’s garden centre in Dripsey for a very informative afternoon on planting for Tidytown. The main topic of the day was to mind our little friend, the humble bee. One of the aims of our tidytown group is to supply nectar for the little bee as it passes through our village. Interesting fact, bees are attracted to blue, purple and yellow flowers so let’s get planting. If anyone has any ideas to improve of village, please leave a comment on our Facebook page Ballyagran Tidytown or come along to our meetings or tell one of the group. Help is needed in setting up a web page for the group. If anyone has interest in helping our group or might know someone who would like the opportunity to set up a Web page let us know, activities like this in community involvement look great in a CV.
