This process of becoming a Healthy Club Project is an opportunity for people in the community, not just GAA people to get involved who may have expertise is an area of health and wellbeing.
Over the next 18 months we will be targeting 2 areas of priority and hope to achieve our goals and get a stamp of approval. In doing so our community will get recognition and a better opportunity to get grants/ funding.
This will benefit everyone in the Community.
We all know the issues, problems and pressures facing the young people in todays world but there are also scope in the process of Healthy Club Project to be more inclusive of all the people of all ages in our community, such as Older Adults and parents of school going children.
