U11’s had a good win v Ahane, U12’s had a good win against Na Piarsaigh

Hard luck to the U16’s who lost the Division 2 semi final to Cois Laoi Gaels yesterday in South Liberties.

With scores hard to come by in the first half it took until the 13 minutes for Garryspillane to get on the scoreboard and that came from a well worked team effort and shot to the back of the net by Jack O’Reilly. Our defence worked tirelessly in this fast-paced match to keep the scores from our opposition to a minimum. 4 further points were added for us to lead at the half time break. 1.4 to 5 points. Cois Laoi Gaels came out in the second half all guns blazing and within 10 minutes had notched up 2 goals and three points. Bouncers dug deep to try and steam the tide and added a further four points from Josh Dineen, Micheal O’donnell and Jack O’Reilly but time ran out on them. Final score: Bouncers 1.8 – Cois Laoi Gaels 2.14.

Team: Adam Sheehan, Nathan O’Mahony, Robert Sampson, Cathal O’Mahony, Jordan Dineen, Micheal O’Donnell (captain) (0.01), Josh Dineen (0.01), Peter O’Dwyer, Paddy Kennedy, Jack O’Keeffe , Jack O’Reilly(1.06), Eoin McGrath, Connor Finn, Shane Hanrahan, Owen O’Sullivan, Ciaran Beston, Patrick McGrath, John English, Josh Ryan, Ben Ryan, Niall O’Dwyer, Mikey O’Keeffe, Shane Ryan, Bailey Ryan.
