SENIOR HURLERS

Our Senior Hurlers were in All County League action during the week when they entertained Garryspillane to Pairc Ui Dromguil.
A much changed look to our side from the previous outing with only 4 starting team members from the victory over Doon.
With the advent of this new Inter County system many lads have taken to the skies and decided to take advantage of the 14 week break.
We therefore started with a much different 15 but nevertheless manager Paul Beary will be very pleased with the efforts of the lads that togged out.
We had a few senior debutante on show namely Sean Long who contributed 3 points to our tally and played well along with Ger Kearns who scored a goal, Daniel Long and Gearoid Synnot who slotted in well at the heart of the defence.
Brian Hartnett rolled back the years at full back and had a good game throughout as did Dean McLoughlin who revelled in the physical battle.
Overall a very good and positive performance from the lads who will welcome Kilmallock to Pairc Ui Dromguil this Sunday morning.
Final Score was Na Piarsaigh 3-23 Garryspillane 2-17
