Development of New Training Facility – Club Funding

The club is currently exploring numerous initiatives to help fund our new Training facility.

As part of the Development, the club are seeking donations with the following options now open.

– 5 Year Interest Free Loans Starting at €1,000

– Private Donations starting at €500

– Project Appreciation Wall / Buy a Brick (€200 per individual or €300 per family)

– Note: Donations below €200 are welcome but only donations above €200 will lead to inclusion on the project appreciation wall

– Note: Interest free loan providers and contributors above €500 will all be named on the project appreciation wall.

The project is commencing in March 2019 and we expect to complete in October 2019. The facility will be used by the GAA Club, local community games club, local primary schools and local handball club.

Please contact our committee on to find out about our fundraising initiatives before making an online donation

2019 Club Membership

Membership fees for the year are currently due for all new and old members alike. Fees for the year are as follows: Players Employed – €40 Players Unemployed – €30 Students – €20 Family (2 non playing adults & all U18’s) – €60

It is important to note that membership must be paid before being allowed to play. In the coming weeks, it is hoped that the club will use a Smartphone app, as one way to pay the membership fees, making it easier for all to join or re-join the club.

Annual Old Time Gaels Of East Limerick Awards

During the festive break, the Annual East Gaels awards were held in the Millennium Centre, Caherconlish. There was a huge attendance at the event, with many members from our own club in attendance. Tossy Ryan received the Old time Gael Award, unfortunately Tossy was unable to attend but his son Tommy proudly received his reward, everyone at the club would like to wish Tossy a speedy recovery. The Personality Award on the night, was posthumously awarded to Robert O’Dea (RIP). Eimear (daughter) & Shane (son), were present to receive the award.

Robbie gave many years of great service to our club, the East division and indeed his county and the club were delighted that this contribution was recognised in this way.
