St. Kierans GAA Club Notes:

All County Leagues:
Following the conclusion of the group stages of the All County football league the Senior and Junior footballers have advanced to the Division 1 and 6 deciders. The senior footballers concluded their group campaign on Saturday evening with a four point defeat at the hands of Monaleen. Qualification for the final had already been secured in advance of Saturday’s game having secured three wins and a draw in our previous four games. In the league final we will face familiar opposition in near neighbours Newcastlewest who secured their passage to the final with a final round victory over County Champions Mungret/St. Pauls. The Junior footballers will face off against another local rival in Athea in what will be a repeat of the round 1 game in the Division 6 decider. The juniors league campaign has been disrupted heavily having received three walkovers during the campaign. In their two games to date they were defeated by Athea in round 1 before rebounding in impressive fashion to overcome Mountcollins in round 2 We are awaiting fixture confirmation on both finals.
