South Liberties GAA Club Notes:

Well done to our U16 lads on a fine win in their opening game last week v Caherline winning by 3 points on a scoreline of South Liberties/Crecora Manister 0-15 to 1-09.

Some of our senior and junior hurlers recently took on some pro bono work by painting the dressing rooms within Dooley Park. We also have volunteers outside painting and filling some planters. Well done everyone for giving of your free time to help us keep our Club and grounds in great order.

Limerick Senior Hurlers:

We are hurting this week from the shock of losing to Cork last Sunday, But we are immensely proud of our County players, John Kiely, Paul Kinnerk, and all the backroom team down the years, our Co Board, our main sponsors The Mc Manus Family and of course our supporters.

Our own Club player Barry was a huge huge loss to the team with his style of play, but despite that, all the players were outstanding. Sometimes luck can play a role in games at this level but it was not to be this year. We have been on the best roller coaster in the world since 2018. This is the end for 2024 but we will be back again. Luimneach Abú
