Rathkeale GAA Club Notes:

Senior Footballers Gear Up for Vital Quarter Final Fixture on Saturday:
Best of luck to the Rathkeale Senior Footballers as they continue preparations for their Quarter Final, when they take on Monaleen, on Saturday 3rd October, at 1.00pm in Mungret. Best of luck to all involved.

Rathkeale GAA Club Memorial Day:
We would like to give a big shout out to all our members, supporters, volunteers and sponsors, who turned up in great numbers, to support the Rathkeale GAA Club Memorial Day, and to help make the day the great success that it was.
A big thank you to all the kids, who enjoyed a great Bord na nOg match, which ended up being a draw game between the Blue and the White teams.
Special thanks to all the golden oldies, mixed with a few of the younger brigade, who put in a tremendous performance in the Masters games. These were very enjoyable games, with the White team, captained by Dermot Hourigan, winning on aggregate by a few points, claiming the Shane Hourigan Cup. In hindsight the teams were probably slightly imbalanced with the Blue team carrying that bit more age, weight and condition!
Well done to Martin Doherty who officiated both games very well, thankfully he didn’t have too many issues to deal with!
Special thanks also to John Comer of Bloomers, his staff, and volunteers for providing the BBQ and refreshments on the day, they went down a treat!
Please find photos of the day on our social media platforms.
