Old Christians GAA Club Notes:

Schools Gaelic Football Blitz:
Old Christians GAA recently hosted a highly successful Schools Gaelic Football Blitz, welcoming pupils from Our Lady Queen of Peace NS, Our Lady of Lourdes NS, Le Chéile NS and CBS Primary School for a morning of football, fun and community spirit for the second consecutive year. The club extends its thanks to all the schools, teachers and volunteers who helped make the event such a success.
Special guests included Limerick senior football manager Jimmy Lee, Garda Mark Gennery, Assistant Chief Fire Officer Tommy Quirke and his fire crew, along with Pat Donnelly of the Limerick County Board. A special word of appreciation for club secretary Gary Culbert and treasurer Phil Madden for organising the event, while Vivien Culbert ensured every participant received a commemorative medal.
A highlight of the day was the opportunity for children to have their photographs taken with the Dr Croke Cup and Mick Mackey Cup, creating lasting memories for all involved.

Sponsorship Boost:
Old Christians GAA is delighted to welcome TJ O’Mahony as a new sponsor, with the company generously providing player gilets for the 2026 season. Club officials Gary Culbert and Phil Madden recently accepted the new gear from branch manager Mark Pearse and staff members Nara, Conor and Seamus. The club extends its sincere thanks for the valued support of local sport.
