Our Senior hurlers were back in Championship action over the weekend when they took on rivals Kilmallock in round 3 of the Irish Wire sponsored Senior Hurling Championship in the Gaelic Grounds.
We got off to the best possible start with a goal inside 30 seconds from Peter Casey.
This was swiftly followed by his second goal after a brilliant pass from Conor Boylan.
Conor himself added our third goal.
Further second half goals from substitute Kevin Ryan, Shane Dowling and Will Henn sealed a very good team performance.
Ronan Lynch was a rock at the heart of the defence, well supported by Mike Foley and Will O Donoghue.
Final score Na Piarsaigh 6-15 Kilmallock 2-11.
