NA PIARSAIGH

LIMERICK SENIOR HURLERS
All roads lead to Croke Park this coming weekend where our Limerick hurlers attempt to create their own history in becoming the first Limerick team to win 3 All Ireland titles in a row.
We are particularly proud of the Na Piarsaigh contribution to this cause. All four of our representatives have been immense these past few years and no doubt will continue to impress in the future.
We wish Mike, Will, Conor and Peter the very best wishes on Sunday and hope to see you all smiling at 5pm on Sunday.

INTERMEDIATE FOOTBALLERS
Our Intermediate footballers were due out in round 2 of the championship v Bruff in Caherelly on Saturday but unfortunately, we handed a walkover an hour before throw-in.
This was not an ideal situation for the lads who have been working hard on the training ground.
Nevertheless, despite the disappointment of this walkover, we are now in a healthy position on the table with four points.
With games v Crecora Manister, Glin, and St Patricks remaining, it is hoped a knockout spot is achievable
JUNIOR FOOTBALLERS
Our junior footballers were also in action over the weekend when they faced Ballybricken Bohermore.
The final score in this one was Ballybricken Bohermore 1-14 Na Piarsaigh 0-6
Back to the drawing board for the management and players with their next Championship game in mid-August.
Incidentally, the team is back in action this Tuesday evening in Na Piarsaigh where they face Claughaun in the City Championship
UNDER 13 HURLERS
Both our under 13 teams were in action this week and unfortunately both were defeated.
Summer holidays and injuries put both panels under severe pressure but nevertheless both teams showed great grit and determination throughout.
Our A team faced high flying table toppers Murroe Boher and lost out on a 5-5 to 1-3 scoreline
The B team also faced defeat to Belville Gaels on the night 6-5 to 0-2
