A massive congratulations to the #MSPCamogie U15 county girls, who put in two brilliant performances at the weekend to beat Derry and Meath in the U15 Development Finals!
It was a long road to Raharney, Co. Westmeath, but every mile was worth it after two outstanding wins.

The U14 Development Squads took part in the Orla McDonagh Memorial Blitz at the weekend, held across Dr. Morris Park, Thurles and Borrisoleigh.
The girls enjoyed a fantastic day of camogie, playing some excellent matches throughout the competition. While both teams were unlucky to fall at the semi-final stage, the standard of camogie, teamwork and determination on show was brilliant to see.
Most importantly, the girls had a great time and represented Limerick with real pride. Up next, is their development blitz final in a few weeks!

U14 Hurling Division 1:
Mungret St. Pauls 4-6 South Liberties 0-9
Mungret St. Pauls secured an impressive victory over South Liberties in the U-14 Division 1 Hurling Championship on Tuesday evening, Tuesday 21 July 2026, in Mungret, producing a strong team performance to claim a deserved seven-point win.
The home side made a bright start and took control of the contest with two well-worked first-half goals, helping them build a 2-04 to 0-05 advantage by the interval. Mungret St. Pauls defence worked tirelessly to limit South Liberties’ scoring opportunities, while the attack made the most of its chances to establish a five-point cushion at the break.
Half-time: Mungret St. Pauls 2-04 South Liberties 0-05
The second half saw Mungret St. Pauls continue to press home their advantage. Two more goals proved decisive, giving the home side a commanding lead despite South Liberties continuing to battle and add to their tally through points. Mungret St. Pauls remained composed throughout, with determined defending, hard work in midfield and clinical finishing ensuring they stayed in control until the final whistle.
It was an excellent all-round display from the team, with every player contributing to an important championship win. This was the last match of the group which sees Mungret St. Pauls in third place on the board with four wins and 1 loss, Monaleen and Na Piarsaigh are above Mungret St. Pauls also with four wins and 1 loss.

Junior A Football:
Adare 1-09 Mungret St. Pauls 2-10
Mungret St. Pauls had their first win in the Junior A Football Championship with a hard-earned 2-10 to 1-09 victory over Adare on Tuesday evening 21 July 2026 in Cappagh.
Mungret St. Pauls settled quickly into the contest, opening the scoring with points in the fourth and fifth minutes before Adare responded with two of their own. The sides traded scores throughout an entertaining first half, with Mungret St. Pauls edging in front thanks to 3 more points.
The decisive moment of the half came just before the break when Mungret St. Pauls struck for a well-taken goal, giving them valuable breathing space.
Half-time: Mungret St. Pauls 1-05 Adare 0-04
Adare came out strongly after the restart, reducing the gap with points in the first fifteen minutes of the second half. However, Mungret St. Pauls responded well, keeping the scoreboard ticking over with points before a crucial second goal restored control of the game.
Adare refused to go away and stayed in contention with a two-point score before adding a late goal to set up a tense finish. Mungret St. Pauls, though, showed great composure under pressure, adding three important points during the closing stages to keep their opponents at arm’s length and secure another valuable championship victory.
It was an excellent team performance from Mungret St. Pauls, with strong defensive work, disciplined play and clinical finishing proving the difference as they collected another two championship points.

Premier Minor Football:
Mungret/St. Pauls 3-12 Kildimo/Pallaskenry 2-9
Mungret St. Pauls produced an excellent all-round performance to record a deserved 3-12 to 2-09 victory over Kildimo-Pallaskenry in the Premier Minor Football Championship on Wednesday evening, 22 July 2026 in Kildimo.
The visitors made the perfect start, registering points inside the opening two minutes before adding an impressive two-pointer in the seventh minute to take early control of the contest. Although Kildimo-Pallaskenry responded with a couple of scores, Mungret St. Pauls continued to dictate the tempo with well-taken points and were rewarded near the end of the first half when they found the net with a superbly worked goal.
A further point before the interval stretched the advantage, but a late goal from the home side in the first-half stoppage time kept them within touching distance.
Half-time: Mungret St. Pauls 1-07 Kildimo-Pallaskenry 1-02
Mungret St. Pauls wasted little time after the restart, striking for a second goal just three minutes into the half to re-establish their momentum. While Kildimo-Pallaskenry continued to battle and chipped away at the lead with a series of points, Mungret St. Pauls always had an answer, keeping the scoreboard moving with composed finishing and intelligent attacking play.
The decisive score arrived midway through the second half when Mungret St. Pauls netted their third goal, giving themselves a cushion that proved too much for the home side to overcome. Kildimo-Pallaskenry continued to fight until the final whistle, adding a late goal, but Mungret St. Pauls responded with another point before seeing out the closing stages with confidence.
It was a disciplined and determined display from Mungret St. Pauls, who combined solid defending with clinical finishing to claim a well-earned championship victory. The early intensity, strong teamwork and ability to respond whenever Kildimo-Pallaskenry threatened ensured Mungret left Kildimo with an impressive win. There is only one more match for this team when they play Dromcollogher Broadford in 2 weeks time.
