Limerick Players:
A dramatic draw with Dublin on Saturday has confirmed Limerick Camogie will compete at senior level again next season, after a battling display that had the squad in front for most of the hour.
The home side led for long spells thanks to three well-taken goals, with Dublin clawing their way back into it largely through free-taking accuracy.
Limerick looked to have done enough to see the game out late on, but a last-gasp Dublin goal forced a draw right at the death.
A real team effort, well done to our own Ailbhe Larkin and the entire squad and Management.
Limerick Camogie U14 & U15:
Well done to the MSPCamogie representatives on both the U14 & 15 squads who took on Offaly and Tipperary respectively.

On Saturday 4 July the Limerick U-16 footballers played a challenge match against Waterford in Bansha where Limerick had a strong win, well done to Mungret St. Pauls players Sammy Roche, Seán Casey, Mark Nelligan, Padráig Ahern and Sam Newman along with coach Timmy Hayes.
The Limerick U-15 Footballers played in the Dermot Early Cup on Saturday 4 July 2026 against Roscommon, with Roscommon getting the win on this occasion. Well done to Mungret St. Pauls players Odhrán Bohane and Harry Nealon.
Limericks U-15 Hurlers played Cork on Saturday 4 July 2026, well done to Mungret St. Pauls players Thomas Slavin, Jack Houlihan, Josh Rohan and Robert Purtill.
The Limerick U-14 Hurlers played Cork and Tipp teams on Saturday 4 July 2026 in Limerick and Tipp venues, well done to Éanna Hehir, Bob Nix, Conor Slavin , Harry Newman, Oisin Purtill and Tom Traynor with coach Richie Burke.
Congratulations to Limerick Senior Hurlers in their win on Sunday 5 July 2026 over Clare in Croke Park. Congratulations to Mungret St. Paul’s Fintan Fitzgerald who came on in the game today. Limerick now play Galway in the All Ireland Final.

U16 Camogie:
A great with for our U16As on Tuesday night in round 3 of the championship – making it 3 wins from 3.
The Senior pitch at home was in fantastic order where our girls had an outstanding performance with some wonderful scores against a determined Patrickswell GAA & Camogie side.
Well done especially to the younger girls who stepped up with gusto tonight

Condolences:

Communion Players:
Congratulations to all of our players who celebrated their First Holy Communion this year—a very special milestone in their spiritual journey.
We were delighted to receive so many wonderful photos of our players enjoying their special day while proudly keeping up their camogie, hurling, ladies’ football and football skills.
Following the Mungret St. Paul’s Lotto, a raffle was held for everyone who shared a photo, with one lucky player winning a €20 club voucher

U16 Division 1 Hurling:
Mungret/St. Pauls 0-18 Ballybrown 1-10
Mungret/St. Pauls got their U16 division 1 hurling championship campaign off to the perfect start with a hard-earned five-point victory over Ballybrown in Mungret on Monday evening, 29 June 2026.
The visitors opened the scoring inside the opening minute, but Mungret St. Pauls settled quickly, responding with three unanswered points to take an early advantage. Both sides produced some excellent hurling throughout a highly competitive first half, with the lead changing hands on several occasions.
Mungret St. Pauls defence worked tirelessly to limit Ballybrown’s attacking opportunities, while the forwards took their chances well to keep the scoreboard ticking over. Ballybrown finished the half strongly, however, and edged into a narrow 0-9 to 0-8 lead at the interval.
The visitors made the ideal start to the second half, raising the only green flag of the game to move four points clear. Rather than letting the setback affect them, Mungret St. Pauls showed tremendous character and resilience.
Driven by relentless work rate all over the field, Mungret St. Pauls gradually took control of the contest. The defence tightened up, the midfield began to dominate possession, and the forwards converted a series of well-worked scores. Point by point they reeled Ballybrown back in before moving ahead, producing an outstanding second-half display.
Mungret St. Pauls finished the stronger side, outscoring Ballybrown by 0-10 to 1-1 after the break to secure a deserved 0-18 to 1-10 victory and an excellent start to their championship campaign.
There were impressive performances throughout the team, with every player contributing to a determined and disciplined display. The work ethic, teamwork and composure shown after conceding the early second-half goal were particularly pleasing and will give the squad great confidence heading into the remaining championship fixtures.
A winning start to the Division 1 Championship is just reward for the players’ efforts, and Mungret St. Pauls can look forward to the challenges ahead with plenty of optimism.

Premier Minor Hurling:
Mungret St. Pauls 2-7 Na Piarsaigh 2-22
Mungret St. Pauls welcomed Na Piarsaigh to Mungret on Wednesday evening, 1 July 2026 for their Premier Minor Hurling Championship opening clash, with the visitors eventually pulling away in the second half to claim victory on a 2-22 to 2-7 scoreline.
Na Piarsaigh opened the scoring with an early point from play before Mungret St. Pauls made the perfect response. Awarded a penalty in the second minute, Mungret St. Pauls confidently found the back of the net to move into the lead, and a well-taken point from play a minute later extended the advantage to 1-1 to 0-1.
The visitors gradually worked their way back into the contest with a combination of points from play and placed balls, edging in front despite another Mungret St. Pauls point from play. Na Piarsaigh continued to keep the scoreboard ticking over, but Mungret St. Pauls stayed within touching distance thanks to another excellent point from play before converting a free.
Na Piarsaigh finished the half strongly with two late points to take a 0-10 to 1-4 lead into the break, the sides separated by just three points after an evenly contested opening period.
The conditions became much more difficult after the restart as rain began to fall, making the surface increasingly slippery. Na Piarsaigh adapted well to the conditions and added a goal early in the second half to strengthen their advantage.
Mungret St. Pauls continued to battle throughout and were rewarded with points from frees. The highlight of the second period came a minute later when Mungret St. Pauls worked a fine attacking move that finished with a well-taken goal from play, reducing the deficit and giving the home side renewed belief.
Another accurately struck free added to Mungret St. Pauls tally with 14 minutes played in the second half, but Na Piarsaigh continued to find scores and added a second goal as they pulled clear during the closing stages.
Despite the result, Mungret St. Pauls showed determination throughout, with their early penalty goal and second-half major demonstrating their attacking threat. The players continued to work hard until the final whistle against a strong Na Piarsaigh side, with plenty of positives to build on as the championship progresses.

U14 Division 1 Hurling:
Mungret St. Pauls 1-15 Na Piarsaigh 2-11
Mungret St. Pauls secured a hard-earned one-point victory over Na Piarsaigh in the U-14 Division 1 Hurling Championship on Thursday evening, 2 July 2026, in Caherdavin, edging a closely contested encounter on a scoreline of 1-15 to 2-11.
From the throw-in, both sides produced an entertaining and competitive game, with little to separate the teams throughout. Mungret St. Pauls matched Na Piarsaigh score for score, showing excellent teamwork, determination and composure in possession against a strong home side.
Although Na Piarsaigh found the net twice during the contest, Mungret St. Pauls consistency in taking their points proved decisive. The Mungret St. Pauls forwards kept the scoreboard ticking over throughout the game, while an important goal ensured they remained firmly in contention.
The defence worked tirelessly to limit Na Piarsaigh’s attacking opportunities, with the team showing great resilience whenever the home side threatened to build momentum. Across the field, the work rate and commitment of every player were evident as Mungret St. Pauls battled for every ball.
As the game entered its closing stages, Mungret St. Pauls held their nerve, continuing to work hard in both attack and defence to protect their slender advantage. A disciplined finish saw them emerge with a deserved 1-15 to 2-11 victory and valuable championship points.
It was an excellent team performance from Mungret St. Pauls, with every player contributing to a hard-fought win that showcased the character and determination of the squad. After 3 games they currently sit in third place with Monaleen and Na Piarsaigh ahead of them having played 4 games. They are next out against Ahane away on Thursday 16 July at 7pm.

Game Changer:
On Thursday evening, 2 July 2026, Mungret St. Pauls hosted a Game Changer Programme focus meeting with Amy Coll, Croke Park Health & Wellbeing Coordinator; Barbara Condon of Ruhama; Seán Cooke of White Ribbon Ireland; Lisa Dolan, Game Changer Project Manager; and Game Changer Ambassador and Mayo Ladies footballer Fiona McHale, alongside many of our club volunteers and management team.
It was an informative and engaging evening, exploring the important issue of gender-based violence through the lens of Gaelic games and highlighting the role clubs can play in creating safer, more respectful communities.
Mungret St. Pauls is delighted to be part of the pilot programme and proud to support this important initiative.

U14 Hurlers:
Most of our U14 hurlers enjoyed a fantastic trip to Croke Park, with a stop along the way to play Na Fianna before taking in the All-Ireland senior hurling championship semi-final, where Limerick defeated Clare. It was a brilliant day of hurling, fun, and great memories. After a long and action-packed day, a group of very tired bodies were safely delivered home following the match! Thank you to the coaches involved for creating this great day for our players.
