How will this weekend play out, don’t forget to update your scores before it is too late.

Canon O’Shea:
A huge thank you to everyone who came along to celebrate the retirement of Canon O’Shea on Saturday, 24 April. It was a fantastic night filled with great energy, as the whole community gathered to mark the occasion in style. Credit goes to the parish for organising such a memorable event, with an abundance of delicious food, lively music, and plenty of laughter and conversation carrying on throughout the evening.
Green Club:
What a fantastic turnout we had today. We want to extend a huge Thank You to everyone who dropped down to our Gear Swap and Bee Workshop. It was brilliant to see the community coming together to support our journey toward Green Club status.
The Gear Swap:
A massive thanks to everyone who donated and collected gear. Seeing so many “pre-loved” club and county jerseys, boots, and helmets find new homes is what it’s all about—recycling and reusing at its best!
he Bee Workshop:
We want to give a special mention and a massive thank you to Tom O’Brien for hosting such an engaging talk on our local pollinators. Our junior members (and the adults!) learned so much about the importance of:
• Nesting Habitats: How simple it is to create “bee hotels” and cavity-nesting spots to give them a safe place to live.
• Local Biodiversity: Why protecting these tiny workers helps keep Mungret green and healthy for everyone.
Together, we are making a real difference. Hon Mungret!
