KILDIMO/PALLASKENRY GAA CLUB NOTES

LIMERICK MINOR FOOTBALLERS: A huge congratulations to clubman Mícheál Cuddihy who has been named in the Limerick minor football panel for this year’s Championship! It’s great to have continued representation on the county stage at all age levels and everyone at the club would like to wish Mícheál and the entire Limerick team the very best of luck for the season ahead!

INTERMEDIATE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP: Championship is fast approaching and dates, times and venues have been released for our first two games of the Intermediate Football Championship, in which we will partake for the first time. We are set to face Galtee Gaels on Saturday March 30 in Bruff at 3pm in our first fixture; before following that up with a clash against Gerald Griffins on Sunday April 7 at 6pm in Askeaton! Less than two weeks away from these two massive fixtures, we’d like to wish the team and management the very best of luck for the season ahead!

LIMERICK SENIOR FOOTBALLERS: The Limerick senior footballers were unlucky to be defeated by a single point away in Wexford at the weekend. Peter Nash kicked three points, including one from play and Tony McCarthy came off the bench in the second half. We also had John Chawke on the panel and we’d like to wish the team the very best of luck ahead of the last round of the league, as they host Antrim on Sunday in Newcastlewest at 1pm.

ALL-IRELAND FRESHERS HURLING FINAL: Clubman Adam Butler was due to play in the All-Ireland Freshers Hurling Final during the week, as part of the LIT panel set to face UL. The match did not go ahead, but we’d like to wish Adam the very best of luck in the final whenever it is due to take place!

LIMERICK SENIOR HURLERS: The Limerick senior hurlers face Dublin in the semi-final of the National Hurling League next Sunday in Nowlan Park, with throw-in at 1.30pm. Best of luck to clubmen Kyle Hayes, Barry O’Connell and Ruairí Maher and all the panel!

CLUB LOTTO: There was no winner of the club lotto for the week of 11 March 2019. The numbers drawn were 1, 2, 5 and 32.

The lucky dip winners were Cian Guinane, Rose McKeogh, Conor Shanahan and Phil O’Sullivan. Next week’s jackpot rises to €15,700.

CLUB LIMERICK DRAW: As championship for both club and county draws nearer, there is no better way to support both and show our players you’re right behind them all the way. Kildimo Pallaskenry GAA is very fortunate to have a number of players involved with county teams in both hurling and football across a number of grades.
