Jim (Twin) Lynch Memorial Cup Final in aid of St. Ita’s Rehabilitation Unit:
All roads lead to Granagh-Ballingarry GAA Grounds in Ballingarry on Friday 26th June at 7.30pm for the mouth-watering clash of 7-in-a-row seeking Granagh-Ballingarry and recently crowned County Hurling League Division 3 champions neighbours Bruree in the final of the 7th annual Granagh-Ballingarry Jim (Twin) Lynch Memorial Cup hurling tournament in a rematch of the recent Jim O’Brien Memorial Cup Final won by Bruree after a dramatic 10 penalty shootout.
All proceeds of a bucket collection at the Memorial Cup Final will go to the Rehabilitation Unit in St. Ita’s Community Hospital in Newcastle West. The late Jim (Twin) Lynch had a life long association with the GAA and the Granagh-Ballingarry club and at the time of his sudden passing on Tuesday 28th May 2019 was the assistant secretary of the West Limerick GAA Board. Your support of the Memorial Cup Final and the Rehabilitation Unit in St. Ita’s Hospital, Newcastle West would be greatly appreciated.

2022 Friday 12th August Granagh-Ballingarry 5-14, Tournafulla 1-20. Denis O’Connor captain. Man of the match Anthony Hartnett, Tournafulla, who finished with a personal tally or 0-10 (4 play, 6 frees, proceeds of €500.60 to Irish Red Cross Ukranian Appeal.
2023 Saturday 27th May Granagh-Ballingarry 0-26, Feohanagh-Castlemahon 1-10. Dvid Condron captain. Man of the match Eoin Horgan with 0-5 from open play. Proceeds of €425 to Limerick Marine Search and Rescue Unit.
2024 Saturday 18th May Granagh-Ballingarry 0-23, Croagh-Kilfinny 0-11. Jack Cagtney captain. Man of the match Damien O’Donovan who finished with a personal tally of 0-10 (2 play, 8 frees). Proceeds of €470.65 to new Granagh-Ballingarry Field Development Fund.
2025 Friday 6th June: Granagh-Ballingarry 0-18, Feenagh-K8ilmeedy 0-18. Granagh-Ballingarry won 5-4 on penalties. Damian O’Donovan captain. Man of the match Thomas Galvin, Feenagh-Kilmeedy, who finished with a personal tally of 0-4 from open play.

Your support for the Memorial Cup Final and the Rehabilitatioj Unite in St. Ita’s Community Hospital, Newcastle West would be appreciated this Friday for the 7.30pm throw in, to see if it will be the home side Granagh-Ballingarry who will lift the Jim (Twin) Lynch Memorial Cu for the seventh year in a row of if the Bruree boys can inscribe their name on the base of the cup for the first time and make it a Jim O’Brien and Jim (Twin) Lynch Memorial double over the boys from Knockfierna.
Limerick bid for first All Ireland minor title since 1984 on Saturday:
The best of luck to the Limerick minor hurlers and management and especially our own Danny O’Grady, a member of the squad who play Munster champions Tipperary in the All Ireland Minor Hurling Championship Final this Saturday 27th June in Pairc na nGel at 3pm in a rematch of the recent Munster final won by 7 points, 3-16 to 0-18 by Tipperary. Limerick will be contesting their eighth final and aiming for a fourth title and a first since 1984. Tipperary will be contesting their 35th final and seeking their 22nd title, a first since 2024. It will be the 94th final in the competition since Cork defeated Dublin in the first final in 1928 after a replay played on 27th October 1929. Your support for the boys in green and white and their management would be appreciated at Pairc na nGael on Saturday for the 3pm throw in to cheer them on in their bid to revert the recent Munster Final defeat and brin the Irish Press Cup back to Shannonside for the fourth time.

Granagh-Ballingarry GAA club are delighted to announce the return of the inclusive Cúl Camp at Ballingarry club grounds on Tuesday 4th to Thursday 6th August, 10am to 2pm for boys and girls aged 4-13. All abilities welcome. The Granagh-Ballingarry Club Kelloggs Cúl Camp will be held in the club grounds in Ballingarry from Monday 6th to Friday 10th July which is now fully booked.

June County Draw:
The next Limerick County GAA clubs draw is on Saturday 27th June with a top prize of €10,000. There are a host of other prizes to be won, 2nd €3,000, 3rd €2,000, 4th €1000, 5th exclusive star prize, 6th to 9th €500, 10th to 13th €300, 14th to 30th €200.
Our club had approximately 200 members in the third draw on Saturday 30th May and one winner, Katie Fitzgerald.

Granagh/Ballingarry GAA club draw promoters are taking to the streets of the parish to canvas members to join the club draw which will be held quarterly with €2,000 in prizes, one prize of €1,000 and ten prizes of €100 vouchers with the option to join in the club weekly lottery draw for €150 and the club draw lottery/county club draw for €200. Granagh/Ballingarry players’ membership fees for 2026 are fixed at €50 for Bord na nÓg, players €90 maximum for two or more players, students €50, adult players €180 to include membership of club draw can be still renewed online at www.foireann.ie
Any player not currently registered who incur any injury will not be covered by GAA insurance and will have to cover all costs, including medical and loss of earnings, so we ask all players who may have yet to register to do so asap at www.foireann.ie

As part of our Healthy Club Initiative Granagh-Ballingarry GAA is delighted to support the launch of Saor Pilates in Ballingarry clubhouse.
Taking time to look after our physical and mental wellbeing is something we are passionate about as a healthy club and we are excited to see this new offering become part of our community starting soon in Granagh-Ballingarry GAA Clubhouse on Mondays at 7.30pm. Classes will run in 4 week blocks providing a welcoming space to improve strength, mobility, flexibility, balance and overall wellbeing. €3,900 Jackpot on Saturday:
There was no winner of the €3,800 jackpot in the Granagh/Ballingarry GAA in the lottery draw held on Saturday 20th June in Condrons Bar, Ballingarry. The numbers drawn were 5, 12, 15 and 30. The lucky dip winners of €20 each went to Mary Lopes, promoter online; Kevin and Mairead Kennedy, Helen McCarthy and John Keating.
The next draw will be held on Saturday 27th June in the Rock Bar, Granagh for a jackpot of €3,900. Tickets are €2 each or three for €5 and are on sale in local shops, bars and from promoters.
